Catalytic Grant

Up to $100,000

Apply to this grant if your social enterprise has identified specific procurement or investment opportunities. With the Catalytic Grant you can apply for funding of up to $100,000 to access the support your social enterprise needs to compete for an identified procurement or investment opportunity.

Additional information:

  • Social enterprises can apply with or without participating in the other granting stream.
  • The size of the investment or procurement opportunity must be significantly larger than the amount requested. Specifically, at least 4 times the amount of the grant requested.
  • Social enterprises may identify a service provider (e.g. consultancy, legal services, evaluation services etc.) from a pre-approved list provided by the Program Administrator or submit a business case for a non-pre-approved service provider, which would be subject to prior approval of the Program Administrator. Please see the eligibility criteria for service providers.

Procurement focused:

If you need help drafting a bid or help meeting specific criteria for a procurement contract this is the place for you. The Catalytic Grant is here to match you with a service provider to assist you down the path of procurement contracts. Ideally you have identified the type of procurement contract your social enterprise is looking to win and you are looking for that little push to help you win that contract so you can expand the impact of your social enterprise.

Investment focused:

If you have most of the capacity but are missing industry links, or the knowledge to win over an investor this is where you should apply. The Catalytic Grant is here to match you with a service provider to assist you down the path of securing investment.
